Which career would be right for me?

ever since I was small I want to bring a huge change to the world. I want to engage in philanthropy, help the poor, stop the widespread extermination of animals and things of that sort. As I grew I found that nothing can be done, if one does not have money. So I decided that keeping these aims in mind, I want to become rich enough so I can really help people in the world. But I want to become rich in a way that it does not further harm the environment (that would be quite ironic if i did). So I'm good at music and writing, but those will not make me rich for sure. Why is my nose ALWAYS congested?

Ok, so I am a guitarist and singer. I can play guitar fine, but my singing is bothering me. I like my singing, but the one thing holding me back from completely liking the sound of my voice, is my nose. It's very hard to explain, so I hope I can manage to explain it well enough. Basically, even when I can breathe just fine through my nose, it still always feels as if it is stuffed up deep in the back. I have cleaned out my nose many times, by blowing it, and using cotton swabs. Every day I make sure that it is completely clean, but it never helps, because deep back in my nose, it always feels as though I am congested. For example, I can breathe through it with no problems, but if I try and sniff very hard, I can feel how completely stuffed up it is. 2 days ago he had a SEVERE allergic reaction 2 something (the vet thinks an insect bite), his face was 2X the size as it is normally. I rushed him to the vet & they kept him for a couple hrs. 2 monitor his condition & gave him a 5mg I.V of Dexamethasone, his swelling started to go down & continued....i gave him 4 tablets of .25mg tabs of the same medication in tab form as prescibed before bed (have been doing so morning & night since) & he woke me around 2:30am covered in hives so i called the vet & had him in by 4am they gave him 2 shots 1 of the same & 1 of Dephenbyhamine? (doctors writing cant read it) & it went down over night, as the vet said i may have 2 give benadryl 12pm the next day, i did, then last night the hives started to flare up so i gave it at 7pm & he woke me again with more so i gave it at 1am and again around noon & now hes getting them again! what should i do and how long can this last they said it should stop. He was bathed in cool wtr. and his bed changed pls hlp

Is the Tarmac a top coat for the plaster? I'm not familiar with this product. If so you should be able to use a primer that will go on new plaster. You typically have to wait at least 7 days for new plaster to cure. You can find the primers at any paint store. Give the walls a light sanding and then apply your finish coats. If the Tarmac is a finished product you may be able to use the wall paint with no primer.

At times I get so angry i don't know what to do with myself. Last month I visited my mom and I got so angry with her i ran up to her like i was going to hit her and i will never forget my moms face she was horrified and I cant believe i got that angry at her. Accident ticket states wrong statute? Beat in court?

I was in a sideswipe accident a few months ago in Florida and was given the ticket. I opted to go to court. I was in a merge lane and I swear the car to my left drifted into my lane, but of course, I was cited for it since I was in the merge lane. The cop also told me that he needed to write a ticket to doent a claimed injury (shoulder pain) by a penger in the other car who refused to go to the hospital. My ticket says that I violated Florida Statute 316.083(1). This statute describes overtaking a vehicle on a two-lane road. (Going in the oncoming traffic lane to p a vehicle). It looks as though the cop should have put 316.085 (2) on my ticket. Of course, I will not mention that, but regardless of the "who moved into what lane" argument and the fact that the officer did not witness the accident, can I win based on the statute not applying to my situation and the road set-up? Or could the judge be like, "well, based on the cop's testimony, you actually violated 316.085 and you'll be charged with that."???

How can i get my recently adopted dog to start eating?

A lot of dogs don't eat when upset, or adjusting to a new environment. Good that you keep him away from garbage and the cat food. I have some experience with this. My advice would be to NOT leave food for him where he can eat at will. Decide which dog food you will feed, than put the appropriate amount for him, or a little less, into his bowl and leave him with it. Don't coax him with it, do not disturb him. He could be in a room alone with it, or in his crate (which you should have as a 'safe place' for him.) Check on him after 15 minutes; if he has not eaten it, take it away and don't offer any more food 'til the next feeding period, whether it's the next day or in about 12 hours. Always give him access to water, though. When he is hungry, he will start to eat. But stop the bribing and coaxing and checking on him when he does have access to food. Just a thought: he has no health problems, such as sores in throat or mouth, or any injuries that might make eating impossible, does he? Good luck!

My friend wants to make some blender hash but I've been wanting to try and make some blond hash for a while and I read a tutorial online that uses butane. My friend is a little wary about two things, he doesn't want to smoke butane, and he doesn't think it will extract the thc. your psat scores are only out of 240 possible points. the 1450 that you got is the projected score you will get when you take the sat test. i'm not going to lie to you but the national average is around 1500 ( i know this is true) on the sat test. i don't know why everyone keeps saying your score was good. i'm sorry i really don't mean to be rude. if you did not have time to finish the critical reading section then your score may go up. just remember that guessing when you have no idea is bad. you lose points for wrong answers. as a heads up though, my psat score said i would get a 1800 something on the sats but i only got a 1670. i think the other comments were from people who still think the total possible score is out of 1800. i might be wrong about this but if i am right you should probably study more. sorry, i know it sounds rude but i don't want to lie to you. if i am wrong i am really sorry.

Has anyone else ever had problems with free state health insurance?

The state insurance is only supposed to be free if you cannot afford regular insurance. Not sure how you slip through the cracks. Anyone who should be getting the free insurance does need the food stamps, welfare, tax riders, etc., so it makes sense for them to be talking about those things to anyone on the free state insurance. Anyone who has enough money that they do not need those things and can afford regular insurance should not be on the state insurance.

Why are we getting air in our boiler pipes?

We installed wood floors this summer. They went under our radiator pipes. (We have base board heating) When we turned our boiler on this season, there was a lot of gurgling, way more than normal, at the beginning. Then, one area would start to make what sounds like spitting and hissing noises. We called a plumber, but he insisted that we only had air in the pipes and to just keep adding water and draining off the air. The only thing is, we can add a lot of water then bleed it off, but it comes back, and the spitting noise starts up. Is it possible that we DO have a broken pipe?

Washing North Face jacket?

I have a north face fleece jacket, and after I washed and dried it once, it was totally ruined. The fleece isn't fuzzy like it is when I bought it, and its all like 'balled up'. I've tried everything, like using a tennis ball to dry it, cold wash, fabric softeners, and washing it inside out. I've even tried brushing it with a brush, which worked, but only stayed nice for the first 5 minutes I wore it. Is there anything I can do to make it better or at least keep it from getting worse?

I have been a florist for over 25 years and every year I would have to care for over 100 Poinsettias. The one thing I have learned most is that any breeze, whether it be from the air vent or door opening will affect the plant. If the leaves that are wilting are turning black, this could be that it is getting a cold draft. If they are turning more brown, they may need to be watered a little more. With it getting the warm sun, it may be drying it out faster than you are watering it. The only time it will drop leaves from too much water is if it sits in water or is soggy. At which time the leaves would turn yellow. Just like most plants, they don't like to be moved around a lot. Good luck.

Evertything feels like its gonna collapse help?

My life right now is about math. I'm failing math. It sucks. Currently I have 5 math cles, 2 grad level and the rest of them hard upper divs. I also need to finish my thesis paper if I want to graduate with a B.S. in Pure Mathematics. I feel very stressed. Not only that but in my day job I tutor kids who don't like math. My mind feels like it can only take so much sh*t. I have made very little progress towards my senior thesis and what's upsetting most of all is that I received two Ds in my homework for Abstract Alg II and Topology and an F on a midterm in Advanced Number Theory seminar. I feel like I want to jump off a bridge litterally. My life is a failure! I remembered in high school I did so well in math. I aced the AP Calculus cl with a 5, the SAT Math Level 2 with a near perfect. I'm just not feeling it in my last year of college. I can't help but think that maybe I'm just not bright in math. Should I quit? I feel overburdened.

I have a folder of cards, mostly shiny, that I want to get rid of. I stopped collecting in 2009. I looked up a couple that back then were deck staples like Card Trooper but they're worth nothing. There are secret rares, ultras and supers. Monsters spells traps. I live in Perth, Australia. I would like to get at least $50 for the folder but that may be far fetched. eBay doesn't seem a profitable way to sell since businesses pollute it and I would get next to nothing for the collection. I can't make a full list of the cards but where should I start selling them (all at once preferred).

Alright. This is about the second time i have been thinking about doing this. Here is my problem. I had a friend that asked me to talk to this girl for him. So i did without any questions to why. At the time me and this friend were cool. But while i was talking to this such said girl, i developed something of a crush on her. Long story short, i went behind his back and went out with her. Oh did i mention that i we were both going out with someone else while this was happening? So BOTH of us broke up with the other person and got together. My friend as you would be able to guess doesn't like what i have done and disapproves of the whole relationship. Which is completely understandable. I feel like i broke probably one of the only person i trust. Feel like a d-bag. But that isn't the worse part. My friend and I got together earlier last week. I told him i felt bad about the whole thing and i wanted to make everything straight. Where it was suppose to be. Him and her together. (Oh i forgot to mention this. My current Girlfriend ,which is the girl he wanted to date, really did like my friend. I was just the one she talked to first so she went out with me. So while we are dating, she STILL likes my friend and texts' him all the time. I asked her about it and she said she would never hurt me. But she did to her boyfriend before so that we can get together. Interesting no?) So me and my friend talked. And at the end of the discussion we thought it would be best if i broke up with her. Now, there are 16 teams in each conference, and they each play 16 games, 12 against teams from their own conference and 4 against teams from the other. There are 4 divisions with 4 teams in each division, and at the end of the season the 4 teams from each division make the playoffs, along with the best two records that did not win their division. Now, the teams are seeded according to record, the best being number 1 and worst being number 6. In the first round, the number one and two seeds have an off week and the 3 seed plays the 6 seed, the 4 plays the 5. There are two teams eliminated, the lowest seed to win in the opening week will play the 1 and the highest seed plays the 2. The two winners from the second round play each other in the conference championship, and the two winners from the conference championships play in the super bowl. There you have it. You dont get "points" for wins and ties, they actually play each other in single game elimination.

Cat peeing in house:-(?

Last January we adopted a female Maine Coon mix from the shelter. They stated she would not let anyone pick her up-but she was very friendly to me and to my 5 year old son. She was already fixed so we ume she was a house cat once. She was fairly aggressive from the start-she will bite me if I am near my son and he shows any sign of being upset and she has our 40 pound dog shaking in fear due to her aggression. My 14 year old cat just flat out avoids her. She has bitten my hubby twice. When she bit my son we went to the vet and after a full work up, decided she is overly attached to my son and has "claimed" him so she feel ok keeping us away and correcting his behavior. So she is now on 5 mg of Valium daily for her behavior issues and it seemed to help. Then about 4 months ago she started peeing in the house. Trip to the vet, shot of antibiotics in case it was an infection-again, likely a behavior issue. She stopped peeing for a bit but this weekend we moved things in the house a bit so we can have gas logs installed in the fireplace and she peed in the floor. We woke up this morning to find a second pee spot. My hubby has put her outside-and I am beyond upset. I can't have her destroy the house and honestly, the dog and other cat seem much calmer with her outside but I feel like an adoption failure. We live on a dead end street so very little traffic and I have gotten her a small dog house to make her a nice comfy place to sleep on the carport. I am just a bit stumped as to anything else we could have done to keep her from haivng social issues like marking. I know when I have to tell my son about this afterschool today he will be upset, but I just don't know what else we can try. We have pretty much turned the house upside down the last few months to keep her happy so she won't attack us or the other animals. Any suggestions?

I have a problem with local cats using my garden as a toilet and want some tips on how to stop them. I have tried suggested tips like putting down orange peel or bleach but this does not deter them. It really depends on your body weight and your height, 800 calories a definely not enough for someone who has a bigger build. It's not enough for a normal person, less snack pack more fruits, and protein. for my opinion you should eat normal portions, you should not worry about calories what you should be look out for is Fat Calories! you need higher metabolism to burn off fat which involves nutrition and staying fit.
