What is going on with me..?

Im between 3-4 weeks pregnant 3 blood tests confirm it. Basically Ive already been told I cannot carry to term and if my body doesnt miscarry then theyll have to do a d and c around the first week in january. But for the past week ive been having bad cramps...whats does that mean? I go back to the dr on thursday...
