How can i change my ip?

I work for an internet service provider (isp). We get MANY calls about the changing of an ip address..... most are by players who are banned. YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR IP. It is done automatically and usually happens every few days. If you are that desperate on changing your IP then go swap out your modem at a local payment center. IP release/renew, winsock resets, leaving your modem off for a few hours, and unplugging your ethernet cable are all myths. While some CAN work ive been through them all with customers and more often then not they dont work.
