Can someone explain the superbowl to me please?

Well, if this is a serious question heres a go. There is just the nfl, divided into the nfc and afc. Now, there are 16 teams in each conference, and they each play 16 games, 12 against teams from their own conference and 4 against teams from the other. There are 4 divisions with 4 teams in each division, and at the end of the season the 4 teams from each division make the playoffs, along with the best two records that did not win their division. Now, the teams are seeded according to record, the best being number 1 and worst being number 6. In the first round, the number one and two seeds have an off week and the 3 seed plays the 6 seed, the 4 plays the 5. There are two teams eliminated, the lowest seed to win in the opening week will play the 1 and the highest seed plays the 2. The two winners from the second round play each other in the conference championship, and the two winners from the conference championships play in the super bowl. There you have it. You dont get "points" for wins and ties, they actually play each other in single game elimination.
