I am new to the business of business and need help deciding what DBA to claim?

I recently became certified as a dog trainer and need to register my name, pick a DBA, ect. My question is should I choose sole proprieter or LLC? I have read some books but am rather confused as I am right brained! I basicly will teach private lessons but will teach group cles in different buildings (none of which I will own) and volunteer free training for shelters and dog rescues. Thank You!!!
