Why don't batteries come with the tester on the package anymore?

Duracell and maybe some of the other battery companies used to package their batteries with a little strip of some sort to measure the power left in each battery. Being the unorganized person that I am, sometimes my good and bad batteries get mixed together. I really liked this feature. Why don't they include this in the packaging anymore?
