Had disagreement with male friend, he ignored me for a week, contacted him but he is cold, left me in tears?

We have had an amazing 3 year friendship but he fell out with a girl, as he has a wife and is now depressed and he , I think and my friend thinks, is taking out on me..his platonic friend, but because I have lost a good friend , him his curt texts when I contact him made me cry, feel bereft what should I do , he doesn't want to talk even though it has been 10 days since we had any meaningful conversation
